Overall - a lovely apartment very close to the nature reserve, other areas and all the main sights in Kent. Good, unbeatable location in the middle of the city.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel. the hosts were welcoming and charming, creating a lovely atmosphere. the apartment was beautifully decorated with no expense spared on furnishings. the private garden was a surprising bonus. the location was perfect, allowing us easy access to both the city and the coast. We were spoiled for choice with the nearby local pubs.

The traffic noise could be bothersome to those not accustomed to it. a fly swat would have been useful to deal with the occasional pesky insect.

The value for money at the Clock House was exceptional with a beautifully decorated and well-equipped room. The location was idyllic and the hosts, Helen and Nick, were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Loved the "free WiFi" that didn't actually work, the "continental breakfast" consisting of stale pastries, and the "hiking possibilities" which were just me desperately searching for a decent restaurant nearby.

The "air conditioning" was non-existent, but who needs it when you have windows that barely close?
